Fatal single vehicle collision on ATV leads to death of 33-year-old M’Chigeeng FN man

Just before 3:30 p.m. on November 15th, 2024, UCCM Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision at the corner of Cross Hill Rd and Corbiere Rd, M’Chigeeng FN. Information provided was the driver had been ejected from their ATV and had sustained life-threatening injuries.

UCCM Police, Fire and Paramedic Services attended the scene and began life saving measures on the driver. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old, man was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased. His name will not be released out of respect for his family.

UCCM Officers continue to hold the scene at the location of the collision.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Unit is investigating the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
